John Williams ~ Maestro of the Movies
Talia asked a wonderful question in one of the comments a few days ago. She asked who wrote the Imperial March. The song was written by the composer John Williams. He has written many songs you will recognized from the movies. See at the bottom of the blog for some of his pieces.

Happy Easter
Good morning Fourth Graders,
Egg-cellent job working on your writing this morning. ;-) I am really enjoying reading your "No Bones" stories. After math this afternoon, we'll have an Easter treat. Thanks so much to Dylan's mom, Randee, for making us cupcakes and also to Mr. and Mrs. Rozier for the treats. I hope you all have a really great Easter and come back ready for the last month of school!
:) Ms. Rozier

Writing about the Skeletal System
Last week we talked about the skeletal system and a couple people discussed what it would be like to have no bones. I would like you to write a fictional story about a person who has no bones. Remember a story is more than three or four sentences. Let's see you try for a couple of paragraphs. Please write your story in your writing notebook. When you think you are finished, please show it to Bob or Miss Rozier. You are all AUTHORS, so remember to write like one!

Oh, Pioneers!
Good Afternoon Fourth Graders,
You did a great job this morning during reading. Thank you. Mrs. Harms from the state said she was very impressed with our class. This afternoon and I am going to call some of you back to work with me individually. If you are not working at the back table, you are to work on math with Bob.
Take a look at this picture I found and answer the questions below. Remember AUTHORS, use your best writing skills.

Happy Tuesday!
Good morning Fourth Graders!
I hope things are going well for you and that you are being nice to Bob. Mrs. Boyd gave me an update on a couple of you yesterday! Remember to make smart choices.
Here is a writing project to work on if you have extra time today. Study this picture for a few moments.

Hello from Rapid City!
Hello Team Sonic!
I hope you are having a good morning.
Choose one of the writing prompts. Write a response in your material covered notebook. It should be at least 6 to 8 sentences long. Check with Bob when you think you are finished then post it here on the blog.
Imagine you are at the carnival. You are on your favorite ride when it goes haywire! It won't stop! Write a story describing what you do. How do you get off? How does the ride stop?
or
Imagine you are in Rushmore Cave. As you are exploring you notice a large blob creature coming out of the ceiling. What is it? What do you do?
Have a good day fourth graders! I miss you!
